Frequently Asked Questions
How many years have you been in business?
Who owns Botanical Science?
Established in 1995, the company was co-founded by Debbie Fitzpatrick and George Vincent. Sarah and Robert Verdier joined the company in 2015 and purchased it in 2021.
Why do you require registration in order to view most web pages?
We require registration in order to view the majority of our web pages because we only sell to businesses. It is our wish that information for our customers is only available to viable customers and not to the public or single consumers. Since our products are privately labeled, we want the products to only be seen with your label on it. To see if you qualify, register today!
Do you provide labels for your customers?
Yes, we offer an array of options for you to choose from when it comes to labeling your products. You can choose between Ready-to-Retail, Custom Full-Wrap Labeling, and Custom Silk Screen Labeling. Click on each of the linked pages to learn more about each offering!
Can you apply my labels to the product before shipping to me?
Absolutely! To receive your products already labeled, we suggest choosing either Custom Full Wrap, Custom Silk Screen or Custom Formulation. With each of these options, your products will arrive ready to place on the shelf for sale! With our Ready-to-Retail option, we do not apply labels onto the stock products. With thousands of customers, it would be impossible for us to store and consistently apply labels for all of our customers. If you are ordering our labeled product, a label is applied.
How long does it take to process my order?
We strive to ship orders within 1-7 business days of receipt. Generally, we ship ready-to-label orders the day after the order is received. The Custom Full Wrap orders range from 4-6 weeks. Custom Silk Screen and Custom formulation orders require 8-10 weeks. Lead times may vary depending on availability.
Is freight included in the price?
Can you ship my order UPS or FedEx?
Yes, we ship using both UPS and FedEx.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa/Mastercard and American Express. We do not accept any other cards or Paypal.
Do you have a minimum order dollar value?
Yes. The minimum remains a very reasonable $100. If the order is less than $100, there is a $15 service charge. We highly encourage customers to order the minimum, even if it means buying more units less often.
Can I sell the product without my Company name on it?
No. This is a violation of FDA regulations. Our Customer Support Library contains a Labeling Agreement form that must be signed by all customers before they make their first purchase.
Is there an alternative to labeling?
Yes. We can silkscreen your logo/address on the container. There is a one-time charge to create the logo, silkscreen, and film. There is also a unit minimum per item. The lead time is 8-10 weeks.
Can I create my own custom formula and/or product line with new product names?
How long are your products warrantied?
Our products have a warranty from manufacturing defects for one year from the date of manufacture. This does not include color shift due to the fact that we use natural colorants in our product as opposed to dyes. The products must be stored at room temperature during that time or the warranty is voided.
Can I combine the different options from ready-to-label to custom formulation?
Yes – you can absolutely combine the different options so that some of your products are ready-to-label while others are custom full wrap, custom silk screen, and custom formulation. For example, if you need custom formulations on two of your products, and the remaining products just need a custom full wrap, we are happy to help! Each of our options can be paired with another, as long as you order the required minimums for each of our product options.
What are the required minimums for each option?
Ready to Retail: 1 product – $100 for total order
Custom Full Wrap: 50 products
Custom Silk Screen: 250 products – varies depending on container size
Custom Formulation: 500 products – varies depending on container size
